How to Register
- Online at www.WesternRegional.org (strongly recommended).
Registration Payment & Policies: Attendees over age 18 must register. Persons under age 18 are permitted in Exhibit Hall ONLY. Dentists must register as dentists. AzDA does not issue Guest badges for the Western Regional Dental Convention. Non-AzDA member dentists must present ADA card to receive member rate. Convention badge will permit entrance to exhibit hall, Thursday Wine and Cheese Reception, Friday Ice Cream Social, and eligibility to purchase tickets for workshops, admittance to CE courses which have been pre-registered, and events. Spouse/Family not permitted to attend lectures or workshops. The Arizona Dental Association accepts all major credit and debit cards. All credit/debit card transactions are processed in USD and are subject to the current exchange rates. Returned checks are subject to a $35.00 per check fee.Important Deadlines:
- February 24, 2012 Midnight: Early Registration ENDS. Register Online by this date to receive materials (badges, etc.) in the mail prior to the convention. Those who pre-register after this date will be required to pick up materials at the convention..
- March 23, 2012 Midnight: Submit Cancellation/Refund Request.
- March 23, 2012 Registration closes. Those not pre-registered by this date will be required to register at the convention. This is strongly discouraged as it may delay your convention experience, including missed lectures. If you must register at the convention, arrive early! Registration opens daily at 7:00am.
- March 29-31, 2012 Onsite registration opens at 7:00am at the Phoenix Convention Center.
How can I change a class after I have registered?
You may only do this through March 2, 2012 online or by calling AzDA. NO changes will be made to registrations after March 2. If you would like to change a class after this date you will need to go to the course you would like to see on-site and wait until 10 minutes before the course starts to get in.
May I bring spouse, children, guests to the convention?
The Arizona Dental Association does not issue "Guest" badges for the Western Regional Dental Convention. Those registered as Spouse/Family will be issued an "Exhibit Hall Only" badge. Spouse/Family and children are not permitted in classrooms.
How will I track my CE's?
All convention attendees will receive an Official Convention Guide book at the convention containing pages for "CE Verification of Attendance. "At the conclusion of each lecture and workshop, a code will be announced. It will be your responsibility to record the code in the space provided. It is important that you document your CE credits while at the convention, and retain your notes, as no certificates will be issued.
I don't wish to take any courses but I'd like to visit the exhibit hall.One-Day (Saturday only) badges may be purchased. Choose tuition code Z when pre-registering online or by mail. Come Saturday to pick up your badge at the registration desk.
I am employed by an AzDA member dentist. Does that automatically make me an Allied Member?
No. Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Dental Laboratory Technicians and Dental Front Office Staff employed by active or life members of AzDA are eligible to apply for Allied Membership. What is the convention dress code?
Business casual is suggested and layers are IMPORTANT. Some classrooms may be cold, some warm, some just right - it's best to arrive prepared. Most of all, wear comfortable shoes. Our exhibit hall covers 100,000 square feet!
Can my wife register for the conference as a spouse if I am the dentist and she is the office manager?
Anyone planning on attending any CE course must be registered as Office Staff. No one registered as Spouse will be allowed into any classrooms.
What if one of my office staff has left the office, and I want to replace their registration with someone else?
You may do this only through February 4 online or by calling AzDA. No changes will be made to registrations after March 4 2012. After this date, you can bring the old name badge to the registration counter and get a replacement badge for $10.
Thank you for sending my registration materials (badge, confirmation, etc.) in the mail. Unfortunately, I spilled coffee and ruined everything! What should I do?
You have two (2) options:
- Call AzDA at (480) 344-5777 or (800) 866-2732 no later than February 25, 2012 to request replacement materials and then pick them up on-site at Phoenix Convention Center.
- If you do not call by March 23, 2012 you will be required to order replacement materials at the convention. There will be a $10.00 per person fee for this service which will be enforced.
